wegen der Semesterferien habe ich Ihre Zusendung “Das Jesus Puzzle” erst heute erhalten. Ich habe es gerne durchgesehen. Sie haben mich freundlich um meine Einschätzung gebeten. Ich hoffe, ich entmutige Sie nicht allzu sehr, wenn ich viele Ihrer Thesen sowohl aus methodischen als auch aus quellenkundlichen Gründen als vollkommen halsbrecherisch einschätzen muss. Ich bitte nachzusehen, dass mir für eine detaillierte Besprechung leider die Zeit fehlt.
Wenn Sie sich weiterhin mit dem “historischen Jesus” beschäftigen möchten, möchte ich Sie ermutigen, sich mit quellenkundlich informierten und informierenden Werken zu beschäftigen, z.B. von M. Ebner (kurz), W. Stegemann (wesentlich länger und mit eigenem “Geschmäckle”, aber sehr materialreich), G. Theißen/A. Merz (Standardwerk zum hist. Jesus) oder mit dem jüngst erschienenen Jesus-Handbuch (hg. J. Schröter).
(Immerhin Ebner und Theißen/Merz – aber auch manche andere seriöse Literatur – sind ja sogar in Ihrem Lit.verzeichnis aufgenommen. Ihre Thesen lassen aber nicht erkennen, dass Sie die dort vorgefundenen Informationen verarbeitet haben.)
