Open-ended research, diversity of methods and universal access to Biblical studies.

Scientific research findings emerge from research concepts and methods. They are discussed and checked within the scientific community. Science must be particularly open to unexpected and surprising results. Monitoring of scientific findings by non-scientists contradicts the concept of scientific autonomy as achieved since the Enlightenment.
